I'm still here, just overwhelmed with my to do list.
I don't understand how you awesome mommies have time to get on here & update everyone AND get everything else done.

I was tagged by erica, and I think I was tagged by diane, but I'm not sure. now if I could just figure out how to tag...

1- What’s your staple meal?
bierock casserole. no question. yum!!!

2- What do you want to be when you grow up?
besides a veterinarian, a part time stay at home mommy. I want to be very involved with my kids so I only want to work part-time.

3- What book are you reading at the moment (if any)?
haven't started a new one yet. ben gave me kite runner to read - maybe this weekend at the lake...

4- How do you relax?
going for a run. that's my me time.

5- What color are the interior walls of your home?
tan/beige/whatever.

6- What is your guiltiest pleasure?
food - goat cheese & crackers or chubby hubby
tv - the bachelorette. I know, I'm horrible.

7- What time is bedtime and getting up time?
bedtime is usually 10. wake up time ranges - if I'm working, it's between 5:15 & 6:30, if not, it's however long jack (& ben) will let me sleep. :)

8- How long do you spend reading blogs (per day or per week)?
I keep forgetting about them, so I'd say I only view them for about 20 minutes once or twice a week. more if I'm not working as much.

as much as I love all my furry patients, I'd really rather be at home with my little monkey. :(
I guess I'll be thankful I don't work monday through friday.

a little lulu love

grandma lulu (ben's grandma) passed away monday. she was such a wonderful woman and such a great example for her family. she put up such a brave fight in the last two weeks of her life. it was so hard to say goodbye, but we know she's in a better place.

but we'll still miss her immensely.

this has been a crappy week.

and now I'm up at 3:45 am and have been since I heard two bowls in the kitchen come crashing down at 1:30. ben was only slightly annoyed that I made him come walk through the house with me, you know - to make sure there were no burglars or anything.

and now I can't get back to sleep. I have had a sore throat since sunday and had a fever when I got home from work yesterday (tuesday).

I really hope I'm not getting strep throat... :(

post memorial weekend blues

home from the lake yesterday and jack had a mild fever. today it is slightly more than mild. :( I hate having a sick baby. fevers are my least favorite. I hope he gets to feeling better soon, if not we'll be heading to the doctor.
